The timber beneath your roof matters as much as the sheets on top. Precision carpentry for trusses, decking, fascia, soffits and custom wood finishes — built to carry the load and last.
A roof is only as good as the timber structure under it. Our carpenters fabricate the trusses, decking and trim that give your roof its shape, strength and clean finish.
Many roof failures in Nigeria trace back not to the roofing sheets but to poor carpentry beneath them — undersized members, untreated timber that warps or is eaten by termites, and trusses that sag under load. Because our carpenters work hand-in-hand with our roofing engineers, the timber structure we build is correctly sized for the span and the roof covering, properly braced, and finished to take the sheets or tiles cleanly. Good carpentry is invisible when it is done right, and impossible to hide when it is not.
We work with seasoned, treated hardwood and engineered timber selected for the span and load it must carry. Treatment against termites and moisture is essential in our climate, so we use properly cured and protected timber rather than green wood that twists and splits as it dries. Members are cut to accurate measurements, jointed and braced to resist wind uplift, and set out true so the roof line is straight.
On site we measure and set out from the wall plate up, fabricate or assemble the trusses and purlins, then fix the decking, fascia and soffit boards that frame the eaves and carry the gutters. Where carpentry is part of a full roof installation, this stage is coordinated directly with the roofing team so there are no gaps, delays or mismatches between the woodwork and the covering.
